Terrible service

You took a payment, on-the 18th and on the 30th disconnected my phone which was in good standing without notification. You canceled my phone 10days later. No way to contact anyone for months, Disconnecting it and no way to recovery the number. I would have changed carrier give the chance To connect the same number for business purposes. After several hours of phone calls. I still have no answer or reason. A run around... Wanting to keep the number you disconnected without notice and in good standing. I deserved a call back. They number printed online does not work in my area. no help... no call back... no Problem taking my money tho. style="

To find out if the number is a scammer

I cannot find the name of the person using the number 410-914-**** anywhere and I need to know where the phone is physically located so that I can find out if I have been scammed. It is of the utmost urgency.

Disappointed

I was very disappointed in your company’s policy in charging someone who is not in your service area $1200 to obtain a phone number that is currently not in service. I guess this type of service is why you are no longer in this area.

Can you post a number that works or an email. I have been trying for weeks.

When I finally think I have the right person they get disconnected.

This has happened several timesI wait a few days and the same thing. Even after spending hour s-on the phone{{Redacted}}

Service Terminated

I had a payment agreement with Cavalier for my home phone service because my husband is very ill from a stroke so income was cut in half. They told me that cavalier does not offer medical emergency forms or life line services. My July payment was late so they immediately cut/suspended my service. When I called them they said I had to pay the full $350.00 now in order to have service restored. I have filed a complaint with the PAPUC but no response from them at all. Dont know how long it can be suspended before it is completely disconnected. Guess I'll be without a home phone for now.

Worst Company EVER

In Jan 2013 the Cavalier system went down, I work at home so this cost me money, I kept calling to see if the system came back up. Finally I called another phone and internet company they came out on Jan 13th 2013 and set up everything, I did a voice change over that day and everything. Now waiting for Cavalier to release my number, they held on to the number so long that I had to do anyone still in Jan 2013, meanwhile they still sent me a bill for Jan and Feb 2013. I called and called they did not want to hear what I had to say, or understand my side as a customer, I even said to them maybe someone dropped the ball, but why am I paying the cost, they still did not care at all the wanted the money from me, for service they did not provid. I contacted the BBB and still cavalier/windstream manager, did not do a thing or cared, even after I told her that I have a contract from the new company that my service was installed on Jan 13th 2013,I signed for on that day. I faxed it many times, she claims "she could not read it", and said to me "it does not matter, it does not change a thing". They are a heart less, money sucking company, that has no idea what "customer service" mean. I advice to anyone that wants you use Cavalier or Windsteam, DO NOT USE THEM. They will take advantage of you.

Service disconneted with notice

some how I missed a payment with Cavalier for Mar13 and my service was terminated with out notice and then they would not transfer my phone# to the new carrier because I missed paying 54.20 for one month. This company needs to be shut down for shady business practices. I had never heard of them before but they were only service available to this development at the time. It took them 4 months the install the service and I had a year of poor billing for calls to places around the world that I never made. I had that # for 4 years. They will not return the money I paid all this time for portability. This company needs to be shut down for very poor business practices and taking peoples money (stealing)

Cavalier Telephone

I been trying to disconnect my phone and cancel the service. Thirty days into what they call the process and still not done yet. they said it will take another 5 more days to complete the process. Their customer care people are in the Phillippine. They would not give me a definite answer on when they would have it done. I can not get a commitment out of them. The only thing they good at is sending me the bill. If you ever want a phone service, do not get it from these people. They can only giving headache. What a joke?

Cavelier is a rip off company

We used Cavelier for our business phone and internet. Richard Kurila is our saleperson. We signed a contract with a specific price. We never received this price. Richard Kurila assured us he would fix it. We have contacted him for 4 months and have never gotten an adjustment. We have contacted others and Paetec but no one will help. Now we are stuck with a higher bill than we were paying before we went with them. No one in the company takes any responsibility for it. Area-Washington, DC. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT USE CAVELIER/ PAETEC FOR YOUR PHONE OR INTERNET USE.

I work in the industry and hear this a lot about Paetec/Cavalier. Tickedoff62, my company will actually pay for your buyouts with Cavalier if you are within about a year of the end of your contract with them.

We provide Telecommunication Services to about 60,000 businesses nationwide and would love to send you some comparison numbers if you would like.

Paetec did the same thing to me. I contacted with Cavalier for a $204 a month bill.

Paetc took over and it went to $503 a month. When I complained they said they could charge "fees and service charges" I'm suing them

Cavalier Telephone Promises 90day Early Termination But Omits from Contract

Sales associate came into our office selling T1 internet and phone service. We were moving to a new location so he made us a promise and said " In order for you to get your service within 2 weeks you need to sign today, but here is what I will do, I will put a 90 day early termination clause in your contract so you can cancel for ANY reason if you are not satisfied. The Clause never made it in the contract and now we are in collections for over $7,100. We did cancel within the 90 days because the internet was not fas enough for us and the T1 service went out several times. When that goes out, the internet and telephone both go. They blame it on AT&T every time and take the entire day to fix it. The new company we have has not been out once and is half the price not to mention much faster. You would be smart to have a lawyer look over any contract with them or just choose someone else for your communication needs.

We have Cavalier phone services from 2006 for 10 business lines it was contracted for 2 years term. Itried to switch my phone service to another carrier which would save me of 50% of my current bill.

so i placed an order to switch from cavalier phone service to another carrier., next thing i see in the mail a notice of $3500.00 for cancelling my service, so I called them they told me that my contract automatically renews every 2 years until i send them a written notice 3 month in advance they did not mention me at the time of signing the contract but it was on a fine print on one of the article of their contract. now I am stuck for another 2 yrs until 2012 and pay more for service which i can get 50% less with another carrier. I even tried to reduce my phone line to less number of lines but again they want cancellation fee.

so i mention them about other company charging less than cavalier. so in reply they told me that we can sign a another contract for 3 or 4

Cavalier Telephone Robbed Us

We signed up for Cavalier telephone/Internet for our new office. The service stunk, was out more than it was working, and we had a 90-day satisfaction guarantee which the company now does not want to honor. For your own sanity and protection DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They do not offer a unique service. Get your telecomm service thru AT&T or Comcast, real companies which have their OWN utilities and do not need to piggyback off another carrier! Why pay a middle man (Cavalier) for a service your can get for less money and more satisfaction thru a reputable carrier?!?! Cavalier will entice you with their "cutting edge technology" (which is actually antequated T1 service), then they will threaten you, send you to collections, anything to get money out of you, all for a product they will not guarantee or deliver. Be forewarned!

Unreal wait times.....

i have cavalier phone service and i was calling about a billing problem and sat on hold for over 45 minutes.....it was horrible.. they need to get more customer service representatives....a customer should NEVER have to sit on hold that long...i even tried to get in contact with the tech support to see if they could find out what was going on with customer support and i couldnt even get a rep in that department.....GRRRRRRRR......i am really sick of this company...they promise you one thing and they the service you get is the complete opposite..... i cant wait to get rid of this company........
